Peter has over 20 years experience with personalized supports for people with disabilities. He consults with individuals, families, organizations, counties, regions, and states in areas such as:

  • Supported Living (workshop description)
  • Supporting and Valuing Staff
  • Organizational Development
  • Building Community Relationships
  • Person-centered Planning
  • Recruitment and Retention
  • Self-determination
  • Community assessment and planning
  • Independent evaluations

He conducts training on a variety of topics (see articles) and spends a good deal of time working with and learning from direct support workers.

Peter also speaks regularly at conferences and staff appreciation events. Some call him a “motivational speaker” because of how he relates to and inspires those who do the work.

Call or email Peter to discuss how he can put his skills to work for you in any of the above areas.

Here are some photos taken by Laurie Kimball at a Positive Approaches Institute with David Pitonyak in Augusta, Maine. Below, David, Paul Tabor, and Sandy Feroz join me in singing Stacy Kerr Is My Case Manager.
